$76,000 in scholarships were presented to 44 students at JSRHS


Over $76,000 in scholarships were presented to 44 students at John Stark Regional High School this week.

Cassidy Bechtel is the recipient of this year's Nancy Kataja Memorial Scholarship, an award of $20,000 over four years, it the largest scholarship awarded at John Stark.  Award was presented by JSRHS Assistant Principal Brian Emery (shown). Cassidy will attend Mount Ida College.

Rose Gilman presents American Legion Post #65 Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship to Rebecca McLaughlin. She also received Post #65's Sons of the American Legion Scholarship and will attend NHTI.

 Isaiah Lovering receives the Kathie Henry Memorial Scholarship from Linda Henry. Isaiah will attend Keene State College.

Noah Payeur received the Henniker Rotary's Ron Rosenbleeth Scholarship from Gene Fox. Noah will attend UNH.

Cooper Gorski receives the Russell Durgin Memorial Scholarship from Jean Durgin. Copper also received the JSRHS Football Boosters, JSRHS Football and Cheerleading, and the Ron Lesniewski scholarships.  He will attend Plymouth State University.

Eryn Bennetter, who will attend Roger Williams University received the JSRHS Teachers' Association Scholarship.

 Molly Glover with JSRHS Assistant Principal Aprylle Desrosiers. Molly received the Beluah Brown and Osram STEM scholarships. She will attend the University of Californa at Santa Barbara.

Erin Loc with JSRHS Assistant Principal Aprylle Desrosiers. Erin was the recipient of the Norman C. Parmenter Scholarship and will attend Penn State.
