Earth Science students explored and evaluate

John Stark Regional High School Earth Science students explored and evaluated various types of renewable and nonrenewable sources of energy for efficiency. They looked at nuclear, wind farm, and fossil fuel sources.  They also did a similar evaluation of the various types of fuels for cars--hybrids, electric, hydrogen fuel cell, unleaded gasoline,  and diesel. In these photos, students are testing their own concept windmill models for energy output.  The fan is set on high and students use a voltmeter tool to determine mV or V produced by the spinning fins of their windmill.
