 The General Hawks JV hockey team defeated Kearsarge-Plymouth by a score of 7-0 last night in Plymouth.  Matty Piscina led the team with two goals and one assist including a sweet spin-o-rama goal.  Also scoring was Owen Olson and Tyler Scordo (1 goal each) as well as Cooper Rivers and Cabot Lineberry (1 assist each).  Austin Lunt's physical play helped sustain pressure and Carter Pike was solid on defense.  Caysen Allard and Curtis Mann combined for the shutout in net.

 The General Hawks hockey team returned to the wins column after defeating Hollis-Brookline by a score of 5-2 Saturday night.  Freshman Cooper Rivers scored his first career goal off an assist from Owen Olson.  Noah Chapman and Brett Patnode rounded out the scoring.  Jamo Bourque had 30 saves in net for the team.  The team has two road games before returning home on Valentines Day for a 7:30 faceoff.  Thanks to our fans (both students and staff) for coming to our away game Saturday night.

Valentine's Day is approaching fast! Show some love this year by sending a Carnation to a teacher, friend, or that special someone. Carnations will be sold at lunches starting February 5th and will be distributed on Valentine's Day.

FEBRUARY 21 -  WKXL Radio host, Chris Ryan, will be here to discuss his broadcasting background with interviewing presidential hopefuls, senators and governors on his popular radio show.  He has also worked with the LA Kings as a hockey analyst and currently hosts a weekly local sports radio show with the NBA's Matt Bonner.
