Your girl's volleyball team won in 3 sets over Fall Mountain last night in a convincing manner. The team was led by Sarah Wagner who had 10 kills, Sydney Story had 9 kills, Hannah Chartier had 11 aces and 3 kills, Sara Medvetz had 6 aces and 3 kills and Nicole Yelle had 22 assists and 6 aces.
The team would love your support this Friday as they square off against a strong Gilford team. JV starts at 4:30 and Varsity around 5:45.
The John Stark field hockey program concluded its season on Wednesday by falling to Monadnock. The program experienced tremendous growth this season and has a very bright future. John Stark Girls Soccer: 25 minutes into the game against Kearsarge Chelsea Woodsum sent in a beautiful ball to Abby Brandt to put girls 1-0. In the second half, a penalty gave Kearsarge the equalizer. Sara Nikias put girls back in the lead but Kearsarge equalized again with minutes to go. Three minutes into double overtime Kearsarge managed to put in the decider. Kearsarge 3-JS 2
At yesterday’s cross country meet at Pembroke, Sanborn took first with 34 points, and Pembroke edged out Stark boys 45 to 44 to take second place despite Brandon Langdon’s first-place finish.
Stark girls decisively captured first place with 27 points, followed by Sanborn at 44 points and Pembroke with 53. Laura Martin and Maddie McDonald led the way with a one, two finish. Hailey Erskine and Katie Brennan took 6th and 7th. Libby Barnes finished 11th, rounding out the top five scorers for Stark.
The John Stark boys JV soccer team lost to Kearsarge in a hard fought game 2-1. Ian Combs scored for John Stark on an assist from Joshua Reynolds. Jakob Hardy played great in goal with 9 saves and Marc Morette played a solid game on defense for the Generals. The Generals next home game is this Friday vs. Bow at 4.
Starting Tuesday, October 10 Seniors and Juniors may purchase a parking permit for $10.
Permits will cost $10 - this is the same amount we have charged for years. The Forms have been emailed to Seniors and Juniors school email accounts.
When you come to the office please be sure you have completed the application - including parent signature - and have all the necessary documents. The secretaries in the main office will process your application.

The John Stark Varsity Field Hockey team earned their second consecutive victory on Friday by downing Littleton 2-0. Kasey Arnold scored a first-half goal on a feed from Elizabeth Aubin to give the Generals a 1-0 they took into the half. The Generals added a goal midway through the second half when Rebecca Wetherbee knocked home Delaney Forrestall's pass. Abbey Jensen and Tyler Descoteau led a strong defensive effort that was backboned by Melina Jackson's 7 save shutout. The Generals host their Senior Night on Wednesday against Monadnock.
The Boys Varsity soccer team defeated reigning Division 2 champions Goffstown Friday night in overtime. The first half was a little bit of a struggle as the team was down 1-0 at halftime. The 2nd half improved as Patrick Kalob scored off an Evan Caswell corner kick to tie the game. In overtime Chase Patterson had a huge save to keep Goffstown from winning. In the 2nd overtime, an Evan Caswell shot was redirected before being slammed home by Jonathon Rizzitano to secure the 2-1 victory. The boys are on the road today and will return home this Friday versus Bow. We hope to see you at the match.
Last Friday at the Belmont Invitational Cross Country meet, the girls’ team finished in 8th place out of 13 teams. Laura Martin, Haleigh Bilodeau, Hailey Erskine, and Anna Ishak all ran their best times of the season.
For the John Stark boys, Brandon Langdon once again had an outstanding race, taking 4th place out of 185 runners. For team scoring, the boys finished 13th out of 20. Other top finishers for Stark were:
