Track practice today after school is canceled. The next practice will be Monday, May 22nd after school for those3 preparing for the Division II meet next Saturday.
Attention music lovers: The John Stark Music department is putting on their Spring concert next Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:30 pm in the John Stark cafetorium. Come here a diverse selection of music from Concert Chorus, Select Chorus, Concert Band and Stage Band. There will be a 50/50 raffle and refreshments during intermission. Suggested donation at the door is $5.00 adults and $3.00 students/seniors. Come see your peers perform, including Mikayla, Abbey, Kacie, Alyssa and Darla in their last performance at John Stark!

The Generals Varsity Softball lost to #1 ranked Milford on Wednesday 10-6. Gillian McGirr tallied 3 RBI's when she hit a bases-loaded triple in the bottom of the 5th. Sydney Nelson had a RBI double and scored a run. The team travels to Lebanon and Windham next to close out a very busy week.
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team scored 7 straight goals in the first half to get an 11-3 halftime lead, and scored goals late to seal a 15-9 victory over a tenacious Oyster River team. Rylee Ledoux scored 6 goals and had an assist to lead the attack with Cady Loos and Piper MacLean scoring 3 goals each. Mackenzie Nase played a great 2-way game at midfield. The 5-3 Generals travel to Kingswood on Friday.
The Unified Generals Volleyball Team defeated Alvirne 3 sets to 0 at home, yesterday afternoon. It was our best game of the season. Great Job by Everyone! Next home game is Tuesday, May 16th against Pembroke.
The John Stark varsity baseball team lost a hard fought game to Hollis-Brookline 5-4 on the last play of the game Tuesday. Jeremy Aubin had 2 hits and pitched a strong game. Brett Patnode and Rian Queen also had 2 hits for Stark, who fell to 5-3 on the season.
The Generals Softball team lost yesterday to Souhegan. Gillian McGirr and Sarah Ferguson teamed up in the second inning and hit back to back doubles scoring the first run for Stark. Jocelyn Dimond Hit a single in the third inning and Kali Kolehmainen doubled to drive her in scoring the second run. The team faces Milford today at home at 4:15.
Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams for the fine performances in yesterday's home meet. Both teams took 2nd place in the three-team meet.
The girls were led by Jalen Beliveau with 13 points and Erin Scott with 8 points
The boys were led by Manny Biskadurous with 9 points and Warren Quinlan who scored 7 points
The Generals next compete in the Newfound Invitational this Saturday.

John Stark JV Baseball Drops game to Manchester West 9-6. The hitting was lead by Aaron Brasier who had two hits and Glen Spooner who went 2 for 3 with a double and stolen base. Jared Widger pitched well for the Generals going 5 and two thirds innings, while striking out 3 batters and only giving up 5 hits in the game.
The John Stark varsity baseball team defeated ConVal 4-1 on Monday to move to 5 and 2 on the season. Derek Goldrick got the win giving up 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 12 and belting his 3rd homer of the season. Brett Patnode went 2-4 with 2 RBI and earned the save in relief. Noah Greene added a RBI double while Ryan Rothdiener had a solid game at catcher.
The Varsity Girls Softball team won their game against Conval yesterday. The Generals took an early 4-0 lead and never looked back. Haley Philibotte went 3 for 3 with 2 walks and scored 5 times. Jillian Palmacci went 1 for 1 with a walk and scored twice and Tyler Descoteau had an RBI single and scored a run. The team's next home game is Wednesday at 4:15.
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team battled hard and held the lead well into the second half before falling to defending D2 champ Hanover by a score of 8-6. Sam Porter had a great game in goal with 13 saves, 2 interceptions and great clearing. Piper MacLean had 2 goals and an assist and Lexi Knapton had a goal and 2 assists for Stark. The Generals will host Oyster River on Wednesday.
