Congratulations to Brooke Shatney for being named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All- Regional team for New England.
The General Hawks Hockey Team has its final home game for the month of January tomorrow January 14th @ 7:30 PM  in Henniker.

The John Stark Hawks hockey Team defeated Monadnock 6-2 last night in Keene. Noah C. had 4 points, Brett P. and Elijah C. both chipped in a goal and assist. Senior co-captain Cam B. also provided a few assists to round out the offense. Jamo B. had 20 saves in the net. The team returns to the ice this Saturday, January 14th at home vs. Sanborn at 7:30 PM.

The fourth annual John Stark Idol singing competition - sponsored by Tri-M - is Thursday, January 19th at 7 pm in the cafe.  Take a break from mid-term exams by listening to some talented contestants vie for the coveted "golden microphone."  There will also be a 50/50 raffle and refreshments at intermission.  Proceeds go to support the Music department's Spring trip.

The General Hawks Hockey Team lost a tough game vs. Lebanon/Stevens by a score of 6-1 last night. Brett P. scored his 4th goal of the season off an assist by Noah C. in the 2nd period. Jamo B. had 38 saves in the net. The team returns to the ice away vs. Monadnock tomorrow night. The next home game is this Saturday, January 14th at 7:30 PM vs. Sanborn.

Art Club will meet this week on Wednesday from3-4 PM. We will not be meeting the week of Midterms.

The General Hawks JV Team defeatedHanover 5-0 Friday night in Henniker. Curtis Mann posted a shutout in net. Freshman Elijah Chapman(1 goal) and Brett Patnode (2 goals)  provided the offense to help get the victory.  The Varsity team lost 1-0 in a tough game against Belmont/ Gilford on Saturday in Laconia. Jamo Bourque played a solid game posting 33 saves. The next home game is this Saturday, January 14th at 7:30 PM vs. Sanborn.
